Massive thanks to everyone who came, we appreciate everyone’s honesty and feedback. There was a great turn out (over 60 people), and willingness of people to become engaged.
We were swamped by the amount of information received and have recorded it word for word, and this is available to see on the website, (under Consultation Feedback).
It’s important that the Neighbourhood Plan is seen as village led and not Parish Council led. This is for the village, and constructed by the village.
We are currently reviewing all the comments received from the consultation event and will feedback to you, once this is completed.
We will continue to keep you informed and involved, with more consultation to follow, and opportunities to have your say.
Please, please, please complete your Housing Needs Survey, which will directly inform our village Neighbourhood Plan. Only 23 replies have been received so far, and we need at least double this for the survey to be considered valid. Deadline Monday 24th February. Please let me know if you’ve lost it and need another one. Please complete it, even if you don’t personally have any housing needs, as this is all strong evidence.
Some issues, such as speeding are outside the remit of the Neighbourhood Plan, and will be referred formally to the Parish Council. There is a Parish Council village meeting on 2nd March, where villagers can attend and raise their concerns directly with the Parish Council.
